February 2014 Postcard Blocks

These are my completed Postcard Paper Pieced BOM blocks for February 2014 for my FB group "Quilting"  I added lace and fancy machine stitches to each block.  In the Mug Rug Block # 2 I used Vintage lace from my Wedding Gown (circa 1961) in the corner - shown in the picture below.

These are my January 2014 Paper Pieced Postcard Blocks.  In block # 1 I used fancy machine stitches and vintage lace to complete a "Post Card". 

In Block # 2 I used silk & upholstery fabric from my scrap bin along with cottons and this block was made into a Mug Rug.
